First Team Capital was incubated inside R Arthur Performance Advisors, an investment firm built around performance advisory. The thesis was direct: build the connective platform that turns university programs, fan loyalty, and merchant ambition into a single aligned relationship — and use a card as the access mechanism that holds it together.
The company is led by an operating team drawn from consumer fintech, college athletics, brand partnerships, and platform commerce — the four disciplines the model requires in equal measure.
